Just days after Kayla Collins revealed she's slept with Ashley Cole, it seems Cheryl might be giving him a taste of his own medicine.
Ashley and Cheryl Cole married in 2006, but split in 2009 after numerous women claimed to have slept with the Chelsea star. Their divorce was finalised in September 2010, and less than 12 months later, the couple got back together. The couple were reported to be looking into moving abroad, and having a second luxurious wedding.
Their new start was shaken when an air hostess revealed she had slept with the footballer, and although it seemed Ashley had talked his way out of that one, model Kayla Collins has now claimed to have slept with Ashley just days before Cheryl's birthday.
It now seems Cheryl has decided to show Ashley just how in demand she is - the singer met up with ladies man Usher in a hotel bar, and made sure Ashley knew about it.
Witnesses told Now that the Girls Aloud singer was deep in conversation with Usher for a long time, and Usher even left his entourage to let the pair talk in private. They then posed for a photograph together - one which she wasted no time in sending to her ex husband.
It may have worked - recent rumours suggest the Premier League star is paying over $1,500 a day to hire an ex-SAS bodyguard - whose sole aim is to protect Ashley from women. One of his friends told a newspaper: "One of the main reasons he has a new minder is because he knows he needs protection from predatory girls - and to be saved from himself. He knows if he's let loose on fans on his own he might repeat his old mistakes. And he doesn't want to be exposed in kiss-and-tells that will mess things up for good with Cheryl."
Fans are sure to be divided over the couple's reunion, but few would begrudge Cheryl for trying to make Ashley jealous - maybe the singer believes if Ashley knows how it feels, he'll learn to control himself. While his methods may be unconventional, if Ashley's new minder does keep him on the straight and narrow, maybe the pair can work each other out - they clearly make each other happy.
