Kate Gosselin appeared on the Today Show Monday morning, and told host Ann Curry that she is ready to date again. She did mention, however, that there are "obstacles" in her way.
According to Hollywood Life, Kate described those obstacles--and they do make sense. She also says the kids want her to start dating, but it's hard for them to understand why these obstacles are such a big deal.
"As far as love life, I've said it a lot of times ... I'm definitely ready to start dating," Kate Gosselin says. "A lot of obstacles for me. I hope to just bump into somebody, but I talked to my best friend and if she could go around the country and collect suitable people ... I have 8 kids, a crazy work schedule. I know there are a lot of obstacles and I am ready to start dating. It's sort of daunting though."
It sounds like the eight little Gosselin children are satisfied that their mom and dad now lead separate lives. While many kids often harbor dreams that their divorced parents will reconcile, that doesn't seem to be the case with the Kate Plus Eight kids. Their dad Jon Gosselin is in a happy relationship with girlfriend Ellen Ross, and they're talking about getting married. The Gosselin kids don't even bring up reconciliation, but they do bring up the notion of their mom meeting someone new.
"I don't know where life will take me. I'm hoping there's someone out there because the kids on a daily basis are just begging for me to get married again," Kate Gosselin says. "They bring it up all the time!"
Do you think Kate Gosselin will ever meet a man willing to take on the responsibility of her crazy schedule as well as eight children? Hopefully if and when that happens, he will be interested in Kate for the right reasons.
