Revlon has picked two well-known beauties as their new global brand ambassadors for 2012, Olivia Wilde and Emma Stone. These young actresses have been in the news and on the red carpet recently so they know how to be glamorous. Their faces will begin appearing in ads, television commercials and the internet in early 2012.
Why did they choose Revlon brand cosmetics? Emma says that she can remember Revlon from way back when she started experimenting with make-up. She says, "I have been familiar with Revlon for as long as I can remember," she added. "I vividly recall my mom wearing Revlon makeup and I remember getting to the age when I was finally able to wear Revlon myself." Emma is one busy girl with three new movies out this summer, Friends With Benefits, Crazy, Stupid, Love and her most recent one, The Help. She has been making the talk show circuits recently promoting these films but still manages to look fresh and beautiful.
Olivia Wilde and Emma Stone both have admired Revlon and what they stand for. Olivia says of the company, "I have always admired Revlon and their commitment to giving women the confidence and tools they need to feel beautiful, both inside and out," she said. "Creatively, Revlon has never been afraid to push the envelope, which is important to me." Olivia is best known for her role as Dr. Remy Hadley on House and the hit movie Tron Legacy. Her most recent film, Cowboys and Aliens was released last month. She is also been around the talk shows and on the red carpet promoting her recent film.
These girls are hot commodities in the celebrity world and have many more projects for the future. Revlon has found two naturally beautiful women to represent their company. Both Olivia Wilde and Emma Stone will be promoting new colors of their cosmetic line and also new nail enamel products. Along with that, they will also be involved in fundraising projects that both girls are excited about.
Will these two actresses be a good fit for Revlon? Only time will tell but with their faces all over the place, they will certainly be recognizable, which may bring Revlon some new young faces using their cosmetics as well.
