Actors Amber Tamblyn and David Cross are officially engaged as of today!
According to Celebuzz!, Tamblyn, 28, and Cross, 47, have been dating since 2008. That's a solid three-year relationship, but what about the age difference? Can a man in his forties really relate to a young thing like Tamblyn? He's old enough to be her father...
Even with the age gap aside, Tamblyn could do better. She's known for her spunk in the TV series Joan of Arcadia and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. While Cross is a brilliant actor himself, and you can see him in Arrested Development and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, one still can't help picturing him forevermore as Principal Gold from She's the Man.
The couple has yet to announce a wedding date, but Cross does have a few projects lined up. Cross will star in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked and an Arrested Development movie. Tamblyn has yet to make plans for any other acting jobs after her departure from the medical TV drama House.
Amber Tamblyn and David Cross make an unlikely team, but maybe they'll prove the world wrong? They'd for sure make an adorable pair in typical indie flick.
