LeAnn Rimes was confronted by a fellow diner about being too thin.
While dining out this past Saturday night with her husband, Eddie Cibrian, and his children, LeAnn Rimes was confronted by a fellow diner and "fan" insisting that she eat more. This incident coming after Rimes has made tabloids about being scary skinny and possibly overdieting. She tweeted during the incident saying, "How dare someone come to me at a table with the boys and tell me I need to eat something. What is wrong with people? As I'm stuffing my face....have another drink and maybe take a class in manners! Cheers!" And her followers did not necessarily take her side, as many tweeted back that she has been looking a little too thin lately. One even made a comment about her resembling a pre-teen girl as of late. Of course, Rimes had to tweet something in response to this as well, in which she said, "Once again, I'm done talking to rude people who have no right to have an opinion on my body. Out of line... If it happened to someone who wasn't a 'celebrity' it would be rude, but to a public figure it's socially [acceptable]?"
Over the years, many celebrities have had body issues - and people are now beginning to focus on Paula Abdul as she is surprisingly thinner than LeAnn Rimes. However, there is such thing as overdieting, and it is very clear that Rimes' fans (or perhaps non-fans) believe she is getting way too skinny. Angry tweets or not, perhaps realizing that people may be concerned is going to be a big step in fixing this "tabloid" problem.
