Jessica Alba is a recent new mom, but you might not guess, she looks so fabulous. The actress, 30, is already in full celeb body-mode. Haven Garner, her second baby, was born August 13. That's just over two weeks ago, reports Us magazine, but Jessica's doctor gave her the okay to hit the gym at the two-week mark. She's taking it easy, the Spy Kids star says. "Just 40 minutes of cardio" at first.
Jessica Alba is serious about this get-back-in-shape thing. It is, after all, her career and her livelihood. She plans on doing lunges while walking the baby—20 with each leg. Sounds like a bumpy ride for Haven. Fans hope Mom Jess is careful on the hills. Then she'll add some stationary bike and elliptical. Just light, for now.
Seriously, celebs live a different life when it comes to food and exercise. They never pig out at the county fair—because if they do, the aftermath can be a career-stopper. Jessica Alba tries to stick to six days a week of healthy eating, and then a little splurging on the seventh day. She isn't clear exactly what she means by that, but a glance at her normal, non-dieting food plan gives fans the idea. The actress says, "I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I'm starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water."
Starving all the time does not sound like much fun, but to be the svelte success Jessica Alba is, some such eating plan is a necessity. Jessica is gorgeous, and it doesn't come without effort. She works hard for what she has.
