Beyonce may be pregnant and currently showing off her baby bump in a bikini while vacationing in Croatia with husband Jay-Z, but that hasn't stopped any of the well wishes, kudos, and praise (and even some baby advice!) from a host of A-listers. One of the most recent celebs to weigh in? Good friend of the couple Gwyneth Paltrow, who herself has a seven-year-old daughter, Apple, and five-year-old son, Moses.
Sitting down with E! News, Paltrow dished on her desire to return to the halls of McKinley High for more Glee cameo appearances. However, when the topic of conversation turned to her good friends, the pregnant Beyonce and father-to-be Jay-Z, the actress gushed that she was so "happy" for them.
"I think motherhood is the biggest blessing of all time, and it gives your life real meaning," Paltrow said. "It's always interesting when you're a woman with success and you've achieved a lot, and then you have a baby and you realize everything you thought was an achievement really is nothing until you have a kid, and I think that will be [Beyonce's] experience."
Sound advice from the Contagion star, who recently stunned at the Venice Film Festival and even met up with Beyonce for her Italian yacht-bound 30th birthday celebration. It seems like many celebs-cum-mothers (from Angelina Jolie and Sandra Bullock to Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe!) tell a similar story—that they experience a post-pregnancy paradigm shift of sorts. The fame and the glory, while still important and laudable, becomes second to the gift and the significance of motherhood.
As Paltrow alluded, Beyonce and her music mogul husband, Jay-Z, definitely have no shortage of success, no doubt with plenty more to come. The Best Thing I Never Had singer even has a highly anticipated movie role in the remake of A Star is Born waiting for her after her latest (and most important!) project: pregnancy.
