Kate Middleton and Prince William's Royal Wedding Planner was the Queen

When it came to planning the big royal wedding, it turns out that the Queen served as royal wedding planner for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Although the Queen had some very specific "musts" for the wedding, such as the attire Prince William would wear for his big day, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was not unreasonable about other aspects of the wedding that were important to her grandson, such as the guest list.

Prince William said of the Queen, "She made the point that there are certain times when you have to strike the right balance. And it's advice like that, which is really key, when you know that she's seen and done it before." When it came to marrying Kate Middleton and bringing her into the royal family, he was more than happy to listen to his grandmother's advice.

There is no doubt that the Queen's advice was spot on. The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was a very proud moment for the royal family and the entire UK.
