Kanye West, notorious for dabbling in everything from music (obviously) to fashion, unveiled his new line of women's clothing Saturday night during his debut show at Paris Fashion Week.
The rapper (and modern day Renaissance Man) launched his new venture, a line of ladies' underwear dubbed Yezzi. The models, likely hand selected by West, came out clad in everything from his line's signature nameplate jewelry to this spring/summer's hit collection item, a fox fur backpack.
Though the event was off-calendar, and held simply at a local Parisian high school, it was still quite the accomplishment for Kanye West, who had previously remained only an attendee at Fashion Week events. His show also drew in a crowd from the celebrity set, including Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto.
As for crowd reception, the success of the venture still remains to be seen, though initial impressions seemed positive, at least with regards to key pieces like the fur backpack.
Congrats to Kanye West on his Paris Fashion Week debut!
