Glee star Lea Michele has made it no surprise that she is a big fan of the legendary Barbra Streisand. Last week, before heading to Paris for Fashion Week, Michele was watching an episode of Hoarders. What happened next was quite priceless.
Lea Michele tweeted:
Currently watching Hoarders and this man has a Barbra Streisand Barbie!!! Where is this man and how can I get my hands on that doll!!!!!!
Of course, what girl doesn't want to add to her Barbie doll collection, especially a Barbra Streisand doll, right? Well about two days later, Streisand noticed Lea's tweet and replied:
@msleamichele Forget the guy. I'm sending you the doll. But I want a Lea Michele doll when it comes out!
Talk about a star struck moment for Lea Michele. Here the singer-actor was now Twitter buddies with one of her idols. Michele was quick to accept the proposal that Streisand had generously laid out on the table (or in this case Twitter). Lea tweeted back:
@BarbraStreisand DEAL!! Ps I adore you:)....Am I dreaming or did @BarbraStreisand just tweet me? I just died. I'm literally dead on the floor.
It makes one wonder if Lea Michele really understands just how lucky she is. It is not every day that someone can get a response from the one and only Barbra Streisand. Who knew that Hoarders would play matchmaker between the stars.
