Pippa Middleton may have looked red-hot at a charity event over the weekend, but fashion critics are calling her dress "inappropriate" and a bad fashion choice. Did the usually stylish sister of Kate Middleton have another fashion faux pas?
Pippa attended a charity boxing match with her longtime boyfriend, Alex Loudon, on Saturday night. The world-famous sister-in-law to Prince William wore a long red dress and left her hair flowing. While the dress looked good on Pippa, since she has such a perfect figure, she is being called out over the extremely low neckline.
Daily Mail fashion editor Liz Jones called the frock "inappropriate" and said that "the dress is completely inappropriate, with no support. I hate cleavage at the best of times, and Pippa cannot now really object to any comments about her shape or hounding by the press as this dress says, Look at me! You see the problem is this dress looked great on the catwalk, but the model was flat chested." She then added that, "the look doesn't translate as yet again a designer hasn't made a dress with a real woman (no matter she has connections) or real social occasions."
She's right of course. Pippa Middleton, in a way, is the luckier of the two Middleton sisters. While her sister Kate Middleton, has to keep her style simple and classy, Pippa can wear whatever she pleases as she has no one to answer to -- unlike Kate who has the entire Royal family to answer to if she makes a bad fashion choice.
The dress however doesn't seem that bad. Yes, it is a little bit low-cut, but that is the style now and Pippa wore it well, without showing too much skin.
What do you think of Pippa's choice of dress? Did she hit the mark or was she completely off trend?
