Not everyone would handle getting fired as well as Cheryl Cole. The British pop star was canned by Simon Cowell just as she began a judging stint on the US version of the hit show X Factor. How could she not be bothered by being booted from such a big gig?
It turns out that Cheryl Cole is ok with it. As a matter of fact, she has 'no regrets' about taking the gig in the first place. Cheryl was a judge on the UK version of the show, so a transition across the pond made sense. All of that came crashing down however, when there were concerns over her thick accent and how the American audience would respond to her.
Of course Cheryl was quickly replaced by Nicole Scherzinger on the show. Somehow though, Cheryl, who is still wildly popular in the UK, has taken the whole thing in stride. Clearly Simon Cowell can be a pill, one only has to look as far as his comments about Lady Gaga this past week that he recanted just as quickly as the critically obnoxious words came out of his mouth.
The question here really is this: what will the relationship between Simon and Cheryl Cole be like in future seasons of UK X Factor? Will she regret going back on the show for another season there?
