Is she or isn't she? Is Jessica Simpson pregnant? A source says an announcement about said pregnancy may be imminent. Jess was spotted recently in Cabo with sister Ashlee Simpson and good friend Nicole Richie--and while these two ladies sipped brightly colored margaritas, Jessica sipped water.
According to a report from OK Magazine, it seems Simpson is being coy about her present condition--if in fact there is one. She certainly looks pregnant but there hasn't been an official announcement made.
A source close to Simpson, as well as her family members and friends, says that Jess is being quiet because she's in the very early stages of pregnancy. Many people actually wait until the end of the first trimester before making an official announcement. The source does say, however, that an announcement is likely imminent.
Jessica Simpson is engaged to Eric Johnson, and reportedly both are ecstatic over the purported pregnancy. Rumor has it they'll put the wedding on hold, however. Wouldn't it seem they might want to speed things up instead?
Regardless of any wedding plans, if Jessica Simpson is in fact pregnant, she'll soon be consumed with planning for a baby. She has made it perfectly clear for a long time that she wants to start a family, so none of this really comes as a big surprise.
