My sister, Demi Lovato, sings, and the World Series needs national anthem singers, right? That must have been the thought going through Dallas Lovato's head when she tweeted that her little sister needed an invite from the Rangers.
Of course, the ever-proud-of-her sister, Dallas Lovato, was quick to mobilize the troops. Several of Demi's "tweeps" began to retweet Dallas' initial post about her sister:
Tweet @Rangers and @MLB #Demi4WorldSeries #DemiNationalAnthemWorldSeries DEMI LOVATO NEEDS TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AT THE WORLD SERIES!
Of course, with Lovato being from Dallas, Texas (the Rangers play in the suburb of Arlington), it would seem like a proper choice for a national anthem singer. The Rangers are guaranteed at least two, if not three home games in the 2011 World Series.
So will the Rangers and Major League baseball make room for Demi Lovato to come sing, if not the "Star Spangled Banner," at least "God Bless America?" If she is asked, one could clearly blame it on the power of social media to make things happen. If she is asked, hopefully she will wear her sock monkey hat!
