Pregnant Beyonce is having none of the fake baby bump rumors and neither is her man, Jay-Z, or her mom, Tina Knowles. In a recent interview between mama Knowles and Us Weekly, any ludicrous allusions to the singer's alleged faux pregnancy were left out of the reported conversation. After all, there were far more important things to cover, such as the sex of Bey's bun in the oven and her new set of food cravings. She is so over the bananas and ketchup phase!
"I'm the most excited I can be... She's going to be an awesome mom," glowed Tina, who also serves as the designer for her and Bey's stylish House of Dereon label, which will be turning out maternity wear sometime soon. She will be a grandmother for the second time around come her daughter's due date in February. (Beyonce's little sister Solange has a 7-year-old son). But will it be another grandson or perhaps a granddaughter this time... a little Beyonce or a mini-Jay-Z?!
Mum's the word, unfortunately, as Tina Knowles gloated, "Yeah [I know the baby's gender]. But I'm not telling!" Still, she did admit to the couple's pure joy, saying, "They are very, very happy and just glowing, and it's great to see." Guess pregnancy not only looks good on fashionista Beyonce, but also on her hip-hop mogul husband, Jay-Z, too.
As for those cravings, what a difference 30 days make. Just about a month ago, Beyonce was indulging in strange combos the likes of Oreos and gherkins, ice cream and chili sauce and those ketchup-covered bananas. Now, it is all about waffles for the "Love on Top" singer. No word on the variety preferred -- Belgian or Liege, homemade or diner-style, maybe even Eggo -- or perhaps all of the above. Any type of waffles definitely top fro-yo and hot sauce, though!
