While Kim Kardashian and Harold Camping come from far different worlds of thought and of stature, these two famous names do share a common bond: October 21, 2011.
Yep. That is the date not only of the reality star's birthday, but also that is the date of the religious prognosticator's call for the end of the world.
Polar opposites in so many ways, these events for which both will allegedly partake take place on the same day. While Kim Kardashian will salute her 31st birthday, Harold Camping will be suffering the Rapture (or so the 90-year-old has predicted).
One possible difference is in what will definitely happen and what will not: While Kim is totally convinced she was born on October 21 (and she has the birth certificate to prove it), Harold Camping doesn't have any proof that the world will go poof on the same day. In fact, he's been wrong before, the most recent time of which was May 21 of this year.
And so, while Judgment Day was not on the way five months ago, Camping is calling for another chance for this to happen. In fact, the Christian Post says that Harold feels he simply made a miscalculation back then, and has revised his thinking and the date for Doomsday.
Apparently, this same publication has not been able to confirm anything lately with the California evangelical broadcaster, because it is reporters that he won't answer his door and that he is said to have disconnected his phone. But all reports up until this writing say that Camping still believes that October 21 is the day that the world will, indeed, end.
But this is obviously not what Kim Kardashian thinks. In fact, KK will likely be getting ready to party hearty the night after October 21 when she is set to reportedly bogey in Las Vegas at the Marquee. This information comes from a source that says a bunch of her celebrity friends and family will be on hand for the festivities.
However, there has been little mention as to whether or not new husband Kris Humphries will be there, too. And maybe he won't. So, maybe that's what could be construed as tantamount to the end of the world for Kim Kardashian on the day of her birth. Indeed, maybe on October 21, the big star who had the big wedding on national TV will announce the end of her two-month old marriage (as has been highly speculated upon by the press and the social media scene). And maybe this will happen on the day before she joins all who love her and who she loves, too, at her 31st birthday do in the Nevada desert. One never knows.
And with that being said, it could well be that Kim Kardashian and Harold Camping do, indeed, have something in common after all. Stranger things have happened.
