Leighton Meester hit up a party the other evening looking like she just got into a fight with ugly, and ugly won. At least that's what some are saying about Meester's 'au natural' look.
Now to be fair, one report praised Leighton for her nearly no makeup look that she wore to a cocktail party. After a long day of filming on the set of 'Gossip Girl,' Leighton Meester chose to let her hair down, literally. If she was going for simple, easy, and glamorous, at least some people thought she was right on the mark.
The same could not be said about the British tabloids, which attacked Leighton with a vengeance. They went after her like a pack of wolves attacking a slab of meat... calling her dress 'badly shaped.' They stopped short of saying that the material of the dress looked like someone's couch in 1974, calling it 'dated.' Ouch.
It gets even worse though for Leighton. She then changed from the cute cocktail dress into an outfit best described as a blueberry costume. Yep, Leighton Meester was then seen in a turquoise jacket, iridescent blue skirt, blue tights, all accessorized with a blue bag and a blue beret.
This outfit was enough to attract blueberry lovers from miles away. If she wanted attention, she certainly turned a few heads in that get-up.
