In her very first solo appearance since her royal wedding, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, stunned in a lovely beaded gown as she took over for her father-in-law Prince Charles. She hosted a dinner at Clarence House for In Kind Direct, a charity started by Prince Charles in 1996. One thing that can be put to rest is those rumors that she may be pregnant.
As usual for the new princess, Kate Middleton's gown garnered a lot of attention. It has been called the most daring dress that Duchess Catherine has ever worn. This lovely pale blue outfit certainly was not recycled as some of her outfits are, but it was so incredibly lovely that perhaps she should recycle it for a future event. There is no sense wasting that dress by just wearing it once.
One thing about the dress is that it clearly showed that there is no growing baby bump hiding under the clothing. In fact, some have suggested that the future Queen of England did not wear a bra with the gown, which is something that a pregnant mother cannot often get away with due to the way things grow.
One guest said of Kate Middleton, "She is more beautiful in person than you can imagine." There were about 30 guests at the dinner party, and the Duchess did an excellent job as host even without any other member of the Royal Family to help her out.
