The headline "Kim Kardashian Divorce" should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. For many it wasn't a question of "if the couple would get divorced" but "when." With rumors swirling for weeks about the impending split, Kim Kardashian decided Halloween was a good day to make the official announcement, after being married for a mere 72 days.
In light of the announcement, Twitter has been buzzing about the news. In fact, Kim's older sister Kourtney tweeted support for Kim not once, but twice! First, Kourtney tweeted:
Our sister is going through a difficult time but we're a close family and are sticking together like always.
Immediately after, Kourtney tweeted:
We appreciate everyone's kindness and support.@KimKardashian, we love you.
Kim Kardashian, who has over 10 million followers on the social networking site has stayed quiet on the site. However, that doesn't mean other people have! Two trending topics were "#ThingsLongerThanKimsMarriage" and "#kimkmarriagewasshorter."
Despite the jokes that started immediately, the Kardashians are a tight-knit family and are obviously used to controversy. Kim Kardashian will not likely be bothered by the negative comments.
