Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been together for so long, at least by Hollywood standards, that it's hard to imagine a time when this "it" couple weren't occupying their romantic real-life roles as girlfriend-boyfriend. But rewind to the filming of the first movie in The Twilight Saga, and Stewart and Pattinson were but two strangers on set. In fact, K-Stew was still dating fellow American actor, the adorable Michael Angarano, who might just happen to be the polar opposite of brooding Brit R-Patz.
Good thing that Stewart discovered Angarano wasn't her type. In fact, according to Hollywood Life, she had feelings for Pattinson from the moment that they started working together on Twilight. Talk about kismet and love at first sight... Kristen Stewart is proof positive that there must be such a thing.
However, her intense attraction to Robert Pattinson didn't keep Kristen Stewart from playing a bit of a cat and mouse game. "She wouldn't give Rob the time of day," revealed an insider source of Stewart's on-set antics. "She would make fun of him or purposely ignore him... but that's just Kristen's style, and it kept Rob wanting more."
So, Kristen Stewart embraced the playground approach to capturing the heart of Robert Pattinson. While teasing and ignoring someone may register as juvenile, these tactics obviously worked. But her hard-to-get techniques weren't all so grade school. There was also some serious strategy involved! The insider added, "Kristen used to play mind games on Rob like no other. It screwed with his head until she let her guard down and warmed up to him. She almost tests people out before letting them in too close."
Well, Robert Pattinson apparently passed Kristen Stewart's tests with flying colors and, as they say, the rest is history. Art imitating life and life imitating art in the unique case of Pattinson and Stewart and their hit Twilight movies. The only question now is will they take their romance to the next level and follow Bella and Edward's Breaking Dawn lead with a ring and marriage... and maybe even a baby?!
