Snooki Claims 'Jersey Shore' Co-Star is Broke

Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi just let a little secret slip about one of her MTV co-stars: Apparently, someone is finding himself in a bad financial "situation."

According to reports, she recently told GQ that her sometimes-friend, sometimes-foe co-star, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, has been recklessly blowing through the money he's made on Jersey Shore, leaving him broke.

Snooki, how?ever, has been saving her pennies for a rainy day because she knows her 15 minutes of reality TV fame could be up any minute.

"I save [my money]. Jersey Shore is going to end soon. I'm not going to spend money like Mike [The Situation]. He's already broke!" she stated in the GQ interview.

???That's right, for once the artificially tanned, self-proclaimed "guidette" actually makes sense and has said something intelligent. Shocking! Hell is freezing over, pigs are flying, something is in the water. That has to be it, right?

Now, do you believe Snooki's claim, or is she just fueling her feud with The Situation? If she's right, it's pretty poor financial planning on her co-star's part since the cast makes loads of cash from their hit TV show.

It was widely reported that each cast member took home $100,000 per episode for their recent season in Italy. How could The Situation blow through all that? On what? There's only so much cash one can drop on gym memberships, tanning, laundromats and hair gel.

Still think Snooki's secret is true? Well, if so, The Situation better start asking for direct deposit from those upcoming season five paychecks. Save up, Sorrentino; your time in the spotlight is fading fast.
