Actress Michelle Williams has sported a short hairstyle for a while and the star says the 'do has really grown on her, despite its lack of appeal to men.
Williams -- who rocks longer, fuller locks as Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming biopic, My Week With Marilyn -- recently admitted to Elle magazine that her super-short hair is not exactly a hit with everyone, including straight men and her daughter, Matilda.
"What [my daughter] Matilda would love is for her mom to grow out the cropped hair, though that's unlikely to happen any time soon. I've really grown into it - I feel like myself with short hair. And it's been a really long time since I had long hair, five years. Of course, the only people who like it are gay men and my girlfriends. Straight men across the board are not into this hair!" she told Elle.
Despite her hairstyle critics, it looks like Michelle Williams' cropped, Mia Farrow-style 'do is here to stay. You have to admit, she looks pretty good -- especially since such a short style is hard to pull off.
Maybe straight men will think differently about Williams' hair after getting a load of some pictures of her on the red carpet last night (Nov. 6) during the première of My Week With Marilyn.
The actress looked absolutely stunning in a gold Oscar de la Renta dress, and her hair appeared soft, feminine and sexy. Her throwback to old Hollywood glamour would've made Marilyn Monroe proud, don't you think?
Do you like Michelle Williams' hairstyle? Should it stay or should it grow?
