Fans more accustomed to seeing Lady Gaga in a variety of highly exotic fashion creations—both from the Haus of Gaga and couture designers—were treated to two different versions of a highly soft and feminine Mother Monster this week in London. While the pop star was in London-town for a filming of The X Factor, she stepped out in high-fashion ensembles of a more everyday variety versus runway ready.
Celebuzz reported the first look early Saturday as Gaga left her London hotel. The songstress was decked out in an Yves Saint Laurent ruffled pink blouse and slit-in-the-side black mini-skirt accented by Louboutins. The only odes to the star's traditional manner of dress were a pair of sunglasses with a cat-eye flair and a pair of chic black leather gloves.
Lady Gaga upped the respectable ante again on Sunday morning when she departed for The X Factor in an exquisite dress from Aquilano Rimondi's collection. The delicate beading at the shoulder and the corset details of the top, visible in the Daily Mail photographs from the morning, really set off the shaped skirt's subtle design and geometric hemline. The Chanel necklace and red poppy for Remembrance Day were the perfect ending brush strokes to the actual ensemble.
Gaga also coupled both looks with understated hair and make-up that emphasized the beautiful bone structure the songstress often obscures with her over-the-top stage attire. People can only hope to see more of this Gaga in street photos while keeping fashion Gaga on standby for music videos and live performances.
