Ashley Hebert was called out by a fan on Sunday. The former Bachelorette was totally dissed because she does not respond to many of her tweets or her messages on social networking sites. While she does have a life that isn't 100% online, some of her fans feel as though she doesn't take enough time to read and respond to the messages that she receives. 
"Would appreciate some kind of response. Your 'Facebook' followers and I have banned together that you are in no position to not respond to your fans that made you famous. If it weren't for us watchers you would still be a nobody. You are no Julia Roberts," tweeted a fan. "What a terrible thing to say to someone. I do not stand for that type of disrespect and negativity," Ashley responded.
Perhaps that's not the response that the fan wanted, but she managed to get her point across. In actuality, none of these people "owe" responses to anyone. Twitter might be a way to connect with your fans, but no where does it say that celebrities are required to read their messages and respond. There have been plenty of times that Ashley Hebert responds to tweets that she receives, but evidently that's not enough for some people.
The comment was way harsh (Ty. Fifteen points if you got the Clueless reference), but perhaps that was the fan's way of getting a rise out of Ashley. What do you think? Should Hebert be responding to more fans on Twitter?
