The Conrad Murray trial just ended last week and Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. The sentence has yet to be handed down, but he could face up to four years in prison. He is currently being held in jail and he is sharing a secret with all of his visitors; he has lost the will to love and he wants to kill himself, according to a TMZ report.
There had been previous suicide rumors when the trial was underway, but it turns out that Conrad was confident in being found not guilty. However, now that his confidence is shattered and he has been handed a guilty verdict, he is now on suicide watch.
Although the L.A. County Sheriff's Department claims that a person's medical or mental health status while in jail is protected under the law, a source close to Conrad Murray explains that he is telling everyone he is suicidal and that he is staying in the medical ward at the L.A. County Jail. He has been on this suicide watch for more than a week.
Conrad Murray will be facing sentencing later in November, meaning he has several weeks in jail to deal with the upcoming sentencing. It is questionable whether a four-year sentence is enough to push Murray over the edge or if he will learn to deal with the sentencing and verdict while in jail.
