Adam Lambert Says ‘Sign Me Up!’ to ‘The X Factor’

Adam Lambert was recently interviewed at an event in Europe and when asked, was very open to the idea of performing on "The X Factor." The interviewer inquired whether he would like to be on the UK "The X Factor," and he responded, "Sure, sign me up! I have watched it yes. I have watched the new American one. Sign me up! I have new music coming out so maybe I'll get a chance."

Plus, Adam would be happy to perform on a show where Simon Cowell is a judge. He told the interviewer, "He was good to me, so I love Simon." Many may remember just how good Simon was to him, as he gave Adam a standing ovation when he performed "Mad World" on American Idol. In fact, it was the only standing ovation Simon had ever given to an American Idol contestant.

Adam has actually performed on "The X Factor" once before - in Finland. Plus, he is no stranger to these types of reality television talent competitions. Obviously, he has ties to American Idol, as he was the runner-up in the competition during season eight. However, he was also a guest performer twice on later seasons of the show, once to sing his hit single"Whataya Want From Me" and again when he released his charity single, "Aftermath." He also performed on the season six finale of So You Think You Can Dance.
