Courtney Love has always been known for keeping it as classy as a McFish sammitch, and she's never quite been as famous for her music as she is for her exploits. Her most current bit of publicity involves going absolutely bonkers on stage during a performance in Brazil.
Sources report that a fan in the crowd was waving a photo of Kurt Cobain around while Courtney Love was playing a set for the fans. Apparently she's still a bit sensitive over the love of her life being dead, you know, so she tripped. She stopped in the middle of her performance to berate the poor Nirvana fan.
"I don't need to see a picture of Kurt, (expletive), and I'm going to have you (expletive) removed if you keep throwing that up. I'm not Kurt. I have to live with his (expletive), his ghost, his kid every day. Throwing that up is stupid and rude and I'll beat the (expletive) out of you if you do it again. You weren't (expletive) married to him. I (expletive) was! Go see the (expletive) Foo Fighters and do that (expletive)."
Apparently there is still some bad blood between Courtney and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, who she ripped into during a recent interview after he purchased an expensive vehicle with his "Nirvana money." It's been reported that she didn't like that her daughter bought a home with her money, or that she's engaged, but these are just rumors.
Should Courtney Love just hang it up and go away?
It seems that she hasn't made any decent music in a long time, and she's not aging that gracefully either. Maybe it's just time to can the bitterness and write a children's book or something? Could you imagine the titles she could come up with?
