Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen, aka The Boss, were together backstage prior to her concert in Raleigh, North Carolina last night. Bruce surprised Taylor in her dressing room before the show and he furthered that surprise her by using her guitar to play "Dancing in the Dark" for her. She was so excited she Tweeted about it and shared a photo of her and Bruce. "Dancing in the Dark" is one of many of Springsteen's hits.
Bruce Springsteen is a New Jersey boy and got his start in Asbury Park. Bruce was in North Carolina because he daughter Jessica attends Duke University. If you in a city where Taylor Swift is playing and your name is Bruce Springsteen, you might as well meet up with her backstage. It is rather surprising that she didn't get Bruce to sing with her for the audience. Country music fans know who Bruce Springsteen is and they probably would have loved to hear him sing a song with Swift. If you want to see the photo Taylor Tweeted, check it out.
Springsteen sat in the audience, just like a regular person. There was someone else famous country music artist who was also in the audience, Scotty McCreery. Scotty doesn't live far from where Taylor was appearing. Neither Bruce nor Scotty joined Taylor on stage. Perhaps Taylor didn't know that Scotty was there or she probably would have called him up on stage.
