Chris Brown is the latest celebrity rumored to have a sex tape. Celebrity sex tape rumors seem to pop up monthly. Many of these alleged tapes end up to be fake and are never revealed to the public. So, is Chris Brown's real?
His reps are responding with a definite "No." The tape allegedly shows Chris Brown in some very graphic sexual acts with Draya Michele of Basketball Wives, his ex-girlfriend. She has also denied the existence of a sex tape by taking to her Twitter account and saying:
"Don't get caught up in the hype. You can't have 'the first glimpse' of something that doesn't exist."
The mystery person possessing the supposed tape is reportedly asking for $50,000. MediaTakeOut.com was offered the tape, but declined due to the steep price tag.
A source close to Brown told TMZ:
"Doesn't it seem like a coincidence that every time Chris has a major performance or event on the horizon, some fake story like this breaks?"
Obviously the source was referring to Brown's performance at the 2011 AMA Awards where Brown was a nominee and also took the stage to perform.
Is it a coincidence or a perfectly timed publicity stunt? It's no secret that Brown's career has been hurting ever since the 2009 assault incident involving Rihanna. The sex tape rumor definitely got people talking about Brown again and at the right time.
