Missy Elliot dead? Rumors have been swirling that the hip-hop star is dead, but don't believe it for one second as the star herself has come out to put an end to the false death reports.
Fans have been in a frenzy since the words "Missy Elliot Dead" showed up on search engines everywhere. But there is no need for panic or worry as Missy is not dead. In fact, she's very much alive and tweeting.
"I'm great people for all [of you] who keep asking! Alive and well!" she writes. "Sadly, someone was that miserable to make up such a cruel rumor! It Makes me work harder make em mad!" Missy said via Twitter after hearing about rumors of her supposed death.
The rapper is just the latest in a bevy of stars to be rumored dead. Luckily, none of these rumors have come up as true, so don't believe most of the things you hear about celebrity deaths, unless they are coming from a legitimate news source.
