Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have decided their brood of 6 children just isn't big enough, so they're making plans to adopt a 7th. The lucky Jolie-Pitt children are now comprised of 2 biological kids Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 3, and their 3 adopted siblings 10-year-old Maddox, Pax, age 7, and Zahara,6. Reportedly, Brad and Angie have promised the Ethiopian-born Zahara that they will adopt their 7th child from her home country.
"They are really excited about it," claims a source close to the world's most famous couple.said. "Brad and Angie made a promise to Zahara years ago that they would adopt another child from the region so she could have a sibling to relate to. Also, seven has always been Brad's lucky number. He and Angelina [Jolie] think it would bring them luck and happiness."
Of course, Brad has often talked about how he always wanted a large family--even before he met and fell in love with Angelina Jolie.
"I had a friend who had a big family when I was a kid," he mused. "I just loved the chaos around the breakfast table and the fighting and the ribbing, and the mom making pancakes for everyone or the dad making pancakes. And I just decided then if I was ever going to do it — this left some indelible mark on me — if I was ever going to do it, that's the way I was going to do it. I know it seems extreme from the outside, but I've always kind of operated this way. When I know, I know, and why mess around?"
Hey, more power to him. Why shouldn't he and Angie adopt more kids? It's not as if they can't afford it. As for a 7th child bringing the most famous couple in the world good luck, that remains to be seen. How can their luck get any better? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie already live storybook lives. However, there's a little boy or girl languishing in Ethiopia who's about to become the luckiest tot on earth.
Congratulations and happiness to all involved.
