Demi Lovato put on a great show during her Dallas, Texas, concert last night, despite being sick! Ever the professional, Lovato promised her hometown crowd she'd give them a great performance, and apparently, she made good on that promise in a big way. Even when she's ailing, Demi continues to try to please her fans first. Let's hope she's taking a little time to rest and recover, because she's got a huge show tonight in New Orleans!
Demi Lovato announced to fans via Twitter that she wasn't feeling well just hours before the Dallas show, saying "Woke up so sick this morning but I WILL NOT let it stop me from putting on a killer show in my hometown tonight!!! Come on Dallas TX!!!!" Anyone who's ever awakened sick knows how miserable it can be - but can you imagine having to shove the Kleenex box aside, pop oodles of Tylenol and then take the stage for tens of thousands of screaming fans to sing?! Yep, Demi is a trooper.
The British newspaper the Daily Mail speculates that Lovato might have bronchitis. If that's true, she'll definitely need a lot of rest to get fully well again. Hopefully she recognizes that sometimes it's best not to push too hard - even when your fans are counting on you.
