Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom have been named the happiest celebrity couple of the year. How does a celebrity couple wind up receiving such a title?
According to a study done for Celebuzz by Zeta Interactive, lots of data was compiled in order to do comparisons between many celebrity couples. Other factors came into play as well, including stories about the couples and the results of searches for comments and social media interaction.
A rep from Zeta Interactive explains how the winning couple was determined.
'When it comes to happiness, or the perception of happiness, Khloe and Lamar took the buzz in 2011. The couple received more positive buzz than any other celebrity couple this past year at 92% positive, and the words and phrases used most commonly to describe the couple online were "love," "happiness," "true love" and "marriage."'
Khloe Kardashian is probably one of the happiest members of her family right now, too. She certainly has a far more viable marriage than that of sister Kim Kardashian, and she isn't saddled with a vile idiot like sister Kourtney Kardashian is with Scott Disick. So it looks like in addition to being one half of the happiest celebrity couple, Khloe is making out pretty well in other facets of her life as well. Even though she's still attached to mom Kris Jenner's apron strings--at least as far as Keeping Up With the Kardashians goes, Khloe does seem to be the only one who sort of has a life of her own.
Celebuzz is calling the official title won by Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian the 'Happiest Couple of 2011.' It's not certain if any kind of award actually goes with the title, or if the couple chosen simply gets to revel in the glory of being perceived as a happy husband and wife.
