Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are headed down divorce road. However, if Humphries gets his way, their marriage will be annulled instead. Believe it or not, Kardashian and her estranged husband isn't Hollywood's most famous couple in the midst of an annulment.
Some of the other celebrities who have seen their short-lived marriages dissolve in an annulment are Renee Zellweger and her country singer beau Kenny Chesney. In 2005, Zellweger and Chesney wed and a mere four months later, the actress ended their marriage. Like Humphries, Zellweger also cited "fraud" as the reason for her annulment.
Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman is another famous couple whose marriage was even shorter and more ridiculous than Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. Electra and Rodman were married for only 9 days! Their annulment causes were "fraud" and an "unsound mind."
Worse of the bunch would have to be Britney Spears and her first husband, Jason Alexander. They were married a total of 55 hours. Apparently, Spears' nuttiness had begun back in 2004. Her parents should have jumped in quickly and helped her out then and there. Maybe she wouldn't have been shaving her head and hitting cars with umbrellas later on.
So, there you have it. When it comes to Hollywood, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are just one couple in a long line of famous couples who often act before they think. Kardashian and Humphries' annulment or divorce will be just a drop in bucket of Hollywood heartbreaks.
