Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that marriage isn't always easy when you have children, even if you are married to the adorable and talented Matthew Broderick.
In a recent interview with the UK's Telegraph, the actress, starring in the new film New Years Eve, spoke candidly about married life and the difficulties of raising three children. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are, of course, one of the more unusual Hollywood couples in that they have managed to stay married for more than three months and in fact have been together for fourteen years. The Sex and the City star admitted that, "Kids can really distract you from your relationship." Most married couples with children are likely to relate.
The couple has an eight-year-old son, James Wilkie, and two-year-old twin girls, Tabitha and Loretta. A handful for any parent, as Sarah Jessica Parker explains, "Going from one to three children is a much bigger adjustment than becoming a mother in the first place. One child in retrospect seems a cake walk compared to where I stand today." Despite the hectic nature of the Hollywood lifestyle, it's hard to commiserate entirely with the world of celebrity parenting when there's almost always a nanny just an arm's reach away.
