Everyone is talking about Taylor Armstrong's breakdown on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of the connection between her breakdown, the abuse she suffered in her marriage and Russell Armstrong's suicide. You were either puzzled by her public behavior or felt extremely sorry for her, because of her screams for help and understanding.
Now, Kyle Richards is speaking out about how she saw Taylor's breakdown on her Bravo blog. "The night suddenly shifted from being silly and having fun to a complete nightmare. Taylor could not let go of the resentment towards Camille. Taylor was afraid that if Russell found out she had told all of us what had gone on in their marriage, and that it was repeated in FRONT of the cameras, he would lose it," she writes. Taylor's outburst was solely based on her fear that Russell would beat her if he found out that other people knew about the abusive.
Didn't all of the housewives explain that there was lots of alcohol and wine being consumed during the taping of that incident on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Well, surely alcohol could have played a role in her breakdown. At one point, she is sitting on a ledge or table in a less than formal wear, almost looking like a scared little child. If she was trying to hide the fact that she was scared, she probably wouldn't look like that. Surely, she was very drunk.
"I was overwhelmed with sadness for Taylor. There was so much we knew, but even more we didn't," Kyle writes in response to know much she knew about the abuse back then. However, Kyle defends her friend, especially now that she is left alone with her daughter. "In watching this, you may think, Taylor is crazy, a trouble maker, a phony, whatever it is you may be thinking. However, please remember, you have never met Taylor. She really is a kind person. She may have her issues, but she never wanted to hurt anyone. Walk a mile in her shoes before passing judgment...."

As to the black eye pictures...... I don't fault her for it. It was well known that her & Russell had financial issues and she still has to eat. Someone gave her a black eye, regardless of whether she made money from it or not. The same with the book (although I will say that it takes more than two months to write a book, so it's should be painfully obvious to most people that the book was written BEFORE russell killed himself).
We're a society of people who have the attitude "I went through something unpleasant and I should be compensated for the pain that I went through, it's my right to be compensated for it" but when someone actually does that publically, we say "what a gold digger", "how could someone try to make money off of that?", "what a bad, fraudulent person". It's a very confusing message. It shows the state that our society is in and it's not a good one. You can't win in the eyes of the public, regardless of what you do.
She's an emotional train wreck and I totally agree that her motives remain financial.
Marrying Russell was probably finance related. She bled this poor man dry emotionally, physically and financially. Camille and her friends NEVER saw 1 sign of abuse on her and these people saw her regularly. It's a sad legacy for his family--esp his children.
I hope Bravo doesn't return her. She has major psychological problems and the series is centered around her issues now. Never liked or trusted her- esp if you read of her past shenanigans. Shady lady!
