The Duggar family of 19 Kids & Counting fame took pictures of their baby miscarried by mom Michelle Duggar last week. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar handed out photos of their daughter's fetal corpse during the memorial service they held on Wednesday for her—their 20th child. The service took place at the Duggar's church in Arkansas.
According to a report from TMZ, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar named the little girl, who was due in April, Jubilee Shalom. At the memorial service on Wednesday, they distributed a photo of Jubilee—her tiny hands and feet on her mother's hand. Some people will likely find the photo a bit disturbing.
The photo of little Jubilee Duggar was accompanied by the following phrase: "There is no foot too small th
at it cannot leave an imprint on this world."
The Duggar family has come under great scrutiny because of the number of children they have. Strong believers that God decides how many children they should have, some feel they received a very strong sign when their 19th child, Josie, was born 4 months premature. Josie, now 2 years old, still has some health conditions and has had several close calls in her young life. Yet Jim Bob and Michelle went on to have another child.
Do you think the Duggar family will now be content with 19 children? Michelle Duggar is possibly even taking her life in her hands if she becomes pregnant again.
And what's your take on the picture of the Duggar's deceased daughter's photo being distributed at the memorial service? Does it strike you as being a bit macabre of the Duggar family to have shared this photo with others?

As far as them having 19 children or even more, that's up the them. They can afford their children. The children are in a loving, safe home and have all of their needs provided for. Not all children are that fortunate.
Personally..... I think this women has a severe mental illness as she is putting her life in danger and her unborn child's life in danger (if they have more)
I hope no one that judges these are morbid will ever find themselves in this situation because I guarntee you will change your mind fast.
I have since become a photographer for NILMDTS and have serviced 36 families in the past 1.5 years. You cannot even begin to imagine that healing that takes place with a simple portrait.
No matter what the Duggars lifestyle is, judging them based on a tasteful, healing portrait of their daughter is horrible. They lost a child plain and simple. Don't judge until you too have walked in their shoes.
Child loss/pregnancy loss needs to not be so tabboo to talk about it happens every single day to hundreds of families. Please take the time to learn about the gift they were provided with rather than judge something based on lack of knowledge.

At most funeral services pictures of the deceased are shown. Most of the time those photos are of the people and the lives they lead. Unfortunately for parents like the Duggars and myself, sometimes the only photos we get of our loved children are after they have DIED! Just because that baby was born still does not mean that they did not want to know what she looked like. As a new parent you wonder for your whole pregnancy what your baby will look like. Will it have my eyes? Will it have its daddys nose? What color hair will it have, if any at all? That doesn't go away just because your baby dies before you get to say hello. I think that it is sad that people are so outraged at these photos. At the saddest time in their lives the last thing they need is for people that have no clue to be judging their choices.
