Lindsay Lohan and her leaked Playboy photos, which have taken on a virtual life of their own, have faced a good deal of controversy of late. From Hugh Hefner's decision to release the publication early to try and salvage its sales and viability to 50 Cent recently alluding to Lilo as an overpaid stripper (she reportedly received $1 million to pose nude) and other backlash, especially in reference to Lohan's perhaps less-than-best portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the pictorial. Now Playmate of the Year 2010 Hope Dworaczyk, a model from Texas who posed for the June 2010 issue, is adding to the chatter and offering up her own diss against Lohan and her blonde bombshell spread. It's a bunny showdown!
"I saw that spread... and I was not impressed," Dworaczyk commented when quizzed about it in Los Angeles earlier this week. "I just feel like if I would have known I was doing a Playboy shoot, I would have worked out more maybe." Hmm... jealous or just genuinely honest? Unfortunately for Lindsay Lohan, there's probably no way this Playmate is green with envy.
Still, it's really quite the insult to Lohan and her physique (not to mention a bit of a slam to the magazine and the photo editing of its current star's stripped-down pics). After all, Lohan probably thought Photoshop would have magically fixed any, ahem, imperfections since she's had court dates and lots of community service, rather than gym time, on her plate lately. However, even Hefner had his own reservations about the troubled actress, as the Daily Mail reports he was initially unsure about having a "Lindsay" cover. He even ordered a re-shoot for Lohan because of the unflattering nature of her first set of images.
Good, bad or indifferent, though, the Lindsay Lohan edition is still definitely getting its fair share of buzz, ironically in great part because of the leaked photos. Perhaps that will be enough to help perk up Playboy and its faltering circulation numbers.
