Actresses Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, and Emma Watson are among the lead vote getters in a recent poll for "Favorite Movie Actress." Which of them is winning, and who else is up for votes?
The recent poll lists five young movie actresses who all the younger movie goers seem to love. They are Elle Fanning from Super 8, Emma Stone from The Help, Selena Gomez from Monte Carlo, Kristen Stewart from Breaking Dawn: Part 1, and Emma Watson from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. As one would imagine, the three actresses mentioned above are vying for the top spot in this poll category.
Currently, Selena Gomez is the favorite, but not by a landslide as some may expect. She has 36% of the votes as of this report, with Emma Watson in second place with 34%. Trailing Watson is Kristen Stewart. The Twilight actress has 20.4% of the votes. Sorry to say, if you're an actress whose name isn't one of the above, you're not doing as well. Emma Stone has 6% of the votes, while Elle Fanning has just under 3% of them.
One has to wonder if Selena Gomez really deserves the votes for what she did in Monte Carlo, because The Help was much more of a critically acclaimed movie. However, when it comes down to it, Gomez is probably getting votes more out of her popularity with her fans, and of course, because she's dating Justin Bieber!
