Kim Kardashian and her family have that golden touch (thanks to that golden shower she partook in her sex tape). But, their golden touch hasn't won over their real life neighbors. Sales for Kim's book Dollhouse and for Kris Jenner's book And All Things Kardashian have all but flatlined in their hometown of Calabasas, California. Bookstore Barnes & Noble employees seem baffled by the slow sales since the Kardashians seem to rule the market these days.
Is it really a shock to anyone else? Perhaps the Calabasas community is just sick and tired of having to hear the Kardashian name attached to everything. It would easily become nauseating to have to deal with that fame hungry fake family on a daily basis.
Can you imagine the mad house your town would be turned into: cameras everywhere! You wouldn't even be able to go to your favorite restaurants for a private meal without fearing a run in with a Kardashian or the paparazzi. Who would want to hang around someone who can party hardly just days after announcing her divorce? To real people, that just seems fake.
Not everyone wants Kim Kardashian in their town. Keeping Up with the Kardashians? No thanks, keep them on TV and in Calabasas! It's obvious their fame brings them fortune, but is just a headache to their neighbors. Especially that loud mouthed giant sister, Khloe and her non-stop lovefest with Lamar Odom!
