Kris Jenner has often counted Nicole Brown Simpson as one of her best friends prior to Nicole's murder in the mid-1990s. In her recent memoir Kris even went as far as to say her post-divorce relationship with former husband Robert Kardashian crumbled when he worked as part of O.J. Simpson's defense team in the murder trial. Ironically, in a new video Kris filmed in honor of her 30th birthday in 1985, O.J. makes a cameo appearance in the flesh as well as in numerous snapshots highlighted in the number.
The video, viewable on the Daily Mail and in the video box embedded below, shows Kris Jenner, then Kris Kardashian, singing an autobiographical song written by her, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian. The song's title is "I Love My Friends" and is sung to the tune of Randy Newman's "I Love L.A."
Apparently, the 1985 version of Kris isn't too dissimilar to the 2011 version as she spends much of the song name dropping the expensive items she and her friends can afford as well as showing off her wide variety of celebrity acquaintances. One of the more ironic displays is O.J. Simpson who appears toward the end of the video in front of a roll-top desk. Of course, this was shot nearly a decade before Nicole and her boyfriend were murdered. However, given Jenner's overall feelings about Simpson, it is ironic that she let daughter Kim share this with the world.
What do you think? Surprised that Kris Jenner has always been a vapid woman?
