Reportedly, Kim Kardashian turned to her ex-boyfriend, football star Reggie Bush for comfort when the whole world turned against her. And although she and Reggie have been in contact, that may soon change. In fact, it will change immediately if Reggie's mother has her way. Rumor has it that when Reggie's mom, Denise Griffin heard the newly divorced reality star had re-established contact with her son, she hit the roof, screaming "Don't take her back!" Yikes.
According to inside sources, Kim Kardashian's 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries, and her current divorce drama and rotten press haven't turned Reggie's mom against her. Denise never liked Kim or her family in the first place.
"For Reggie's sake, Denise put on a smiling face when he dated Kim in the past," revealed an insider, "but she was never a fan of her or any of the Kardashians. Denise was horÂrified when Reggie first brought Kim home to meet the family in late 2007 because it was after her infamous sex tape with ex-boyÂfriend Ray J hit the Internet. Momma Bush wants her son to setÂtle down with a wholesome, religious woman who's out of the spotlight."
Hmm. Sadly, the sex negativity of this culture has programmed many, if not most, of its members with the bizarre notion that people--especially women--who embrace their sexuality are by definition walking abysses of evil. That's just plain crazy. However, on her second criticism of Kim K., Denise has a point. "Out of the spotlight" is something the 31-year-old reality star will never be, if she can help it. And if Denise Griffin can help it, the other thing Kim Kardashian will never be is reunited romantically with her son.
"Denise wants nothing to do with the Kardashian name or fame," says the source, "and she made that clear to Reggie...when he told her Kim had reached out to him. She told Reggie not to take her back and added, 'She's NO good for you!'"
So, there you have it. Will Reggie Bush take his mom's advice and kick Kim Kardashian back to the curb? What do you think?
Stay tuned.
