Hilary Duff may be pregnant with a baby set to debut in early spring, but that isn't keeping her from wearing whatever she wants. Once again the starlet has been spotted in Beverly Hills in seriously high heels designed by Christian Louboutin. Apparently J.Lo isn't the only one who can't resist "throwing on her Louboutins."
Celebuzz features several photographs of the conspicuously preggers actress and singer strolling in and out of shops in the impractical footwear. While one is entitled to wear whatever they want, it seems a bit vain to wear such high shoes during the relatively brief nine-month period that passes while pregnant.
Two different experts at BabyCenter, an ob-gyn and a pediatrician, both recommend against wearing extremely high heels while pregnant because the center of gravity is constantly changing because of the consistency increasing baby weight. Six months is the maximum that a sensible woman should continue wearing heels of any real height according to Catherine Lynch.
Hilary Duff has already approached this mark if estimates of a March due date are correct. It is possible that the timeline reported to the media is a bit off to keep her from being harassed during delivery, but it shouldn't be too far off. Either way, it is a bit too late for Duff to be sporting Louboutins. A three to four month break from the added height wouldn't hurt her, but it could keep her from falling and hurting herself and her baby.
