Kim Kardashian's Cleopatra Bangs--Yay or Nay?

Kim Kardashian sported some Cleopatra-style bangs on New Year's eve--and the jury is still out as to whether or not it's a good look for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians and the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star.

According to Hollywood Life, there is a rumor going around that the bangs aren't the result of Kim getting her lengthy tresses chopped, but are removable clip-in bangs instead.

It's kind of funny how someone like Kim Kardashian--with all the money in the world--would seek to turn over a new leaf and do something daring like sport bangs on New Year's Eve. One would have expected a bit more dramatic--and definitely better looking--attempt at starting over in 2012.

The thing is, no matter what Kim does to change her appearance, people are still going to recall the scandal she caused in 2011 by marrying Kris Humphries in a lavish wedding, only to call it quits a mere 72 days later. Bangs can't hide the fact that Kim Kardashian is insincere, conniving, and extremely self-absorbed.
