It's true that beautiful Rachel McAdams once dated dapper Ryan Gosling, her costar in the film 'The Notebook'. It's also true that she's currently dating Michael Sheen, who she also costarred with in the film 'Midnight in Paris'. However, the dark-haired beauty says neither relationship started on set.
According to Rachel, on set dating is something she tries not to do. "The set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive," she told Glamour magazine. "It's too distracting."
While McAdams admits to relationships with some of her leading men, she insists they came post production. "...You wind up spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie," she explains. For her, that's apparently when the sparks flew; not while the couple engaged in action on set.
Rachel McAdams admitted, however, that she still has a soft spot for her 'Notebook' costar. Still she stressed there are no plans for the two of them to reunite on film. Both she and him have lots of other projects in the works. Fans must find contentment with viewing them separately, at least for now.
Fans of both stars hope that will change sometime in the future. The couple has magical on-screen chemistry that lights up the big screen. It would be a real shame to let it go to waste.
