Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's on screen alter egos, Damon and Elena, had Vampire Diaries fans squealing last night. The real-life couple finally got their passionate on-screen kiss!
After the episode aired, both Ian Somerhalder, and his real-life girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, took to their Twitter accounts to joke about the long awaited kiss. Ian said that he'd been waiting on the kiss forever. (He's so cute!) Nina later laughed at his tweet.
However, Vampire Diaries fans know that Damon and Elena's romance won't be an easy one. Stefan is sure to come around, and Dobrev's character will be forced to choose between the two sexy brothers.
Thankfully, in reality, Nina doesn't have that problem. Her co-star, Paul Wesley, is happily married to actress Torey Devitto, and she's only got eyes for Ian. Even though the pair have a 10 year age difference, they are one of Hollywood's hottest couples. (Seriously, have you seen how good-looking they are?)
