With Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez dating, that seems to always be the biggest story of Gomez's life. If and when these two break up, expect it to be major news, rivaling most other stories. However, Selena's true fans know that she's also a TV, movie, and music star, and the good news is that there's more on the way for her in 2012!

A recent article from EW's Popwatch notes that the biggest asset on Selena Gomez's resume is the fact she's dating Justin Bieber. As they say, it makes her "one-half of the hottest teen couple out there." However, Bieber and Gomez dating news shouldn't be all that Selena is noted for. There's plenty to come from this talented young star, now that she is moving on from her popular role in TV.

While Selena Gomez has recently wrapped up Wizards of Waverly Place, she also has more movies in the works. EW points out that her three upcoming projects will be Thirteen Reasons Why, Hot Mess, and Spring Breakers. The latter features an ensemble cast which includes James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens and Emma Roberts.

The article says that Selena has no planned TV projects as of right now, but she's still got her music, with tours galore. There's also a signature fragrance she has coming out in Spring. So when you add all that up, that's a whole lot of other things besides just dating Justin Bieber.

However, it's true that Justin Bieber is the biggest asset for her. Selena Gomez is gaining plenty of new fans (and haters) as she continues dating Bieber. Their every move is under the spotlight, whether it's a simple kiss at an awards show, or cozying up with one another on a beach vacation. Still, if the two of them were really looking to cash in on their popularity right now, they'd look for joint venture projects in movies, TV and music. Think about it kids!
