Miley Cyrus fell for Liam Hemsworth when he had light brown hair. Now he is sporting a dark chocolate 'do, and he admits he is not comfortable with the whole makeover experience. First, he says, the salon time wasn't as "pleasurable" as he had expected, dishes Celebuzz, reporting on an interview. Did he think he was getting a massage? Dye solutions smell funny, drip, and generally take a lot of down time to apply. Then you look in the mirror and blink at some stranger with your face. No word on what Miley immediately thought.
"I didn't like it," Liam reports. "I'd never colored my hair before, and it definitely gave me sympathy for what women go through," he said. The foil strips? The dryer? Being painted with a little brush? Feeling as if everyone is looking, even though the other patrons may be enduring worse? That last is probably most true for men.
The changeover was done for his role in The Hunger Games. And since that role is keeping him away from current flame Miley Cyrus, Liam shared how the two keep in touch. "Skype!" Liam says. "A little bit every day. For those long stretches apart, just to see her face makes it so much easier." Sounds like true love. Stay tuned.
