Lindsay Lohan has landed yet another modeling job since stripping down for Playboy, a decision that not only led to her highly debated Marilyn Monroe-esque cover and spread, but also to those now-infamous leaked photos that generated plenty of attention for Hugh Hefner and his magazine. But it also seems to have spurred her modeling career. Since her bunny moment, Lohan has daringly played for the camera as a sultry Jag Jeans' gal and as German designer Phillip Plein's "it" girl. But her latest gig has her posing -- provocatively, of course -- for the French Connection UK (FCUK) fragrance, Friction!
LiLo of course is no stranger to flashbulbs (all those paparazzi, of course), but now the shots of her are ones that aren't so, shall one say, candid and less-than-favorable. Case in point is the FCUK Friction campaign, although the initial black-and-white photo used was actually one from a racy shoot she did several years ago for the January 2010 issue of Muse magazine. Apparently the shoot was inspired by former lovers, Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, and also featured a topless Lindsay Lohan, as Fashion Etc. reports. Coincidentally, the Muse shoot was also photographed by LiLo's Playboy lens-master Yu Tsai. They go way back!
The pic selected for the Friction ad shows Lohan and male model Petey Wright in a rather passionate embrace, which is obviously perfect not only for the fragrance's name but also its actual scent: "an alluring blend of citrus, sensual musk and warm woods -- scents with addictive notes that pique all five senses," Fashion Etc. confirms. However, despite the visible risquÃ© factor of the ad, the photo's black-and-white quality keeps it a bit more classy.
The irony cannot be lost, though, on French Connection's boundaries-pushing acronym, FCUK, which is splattered across the ad, too. After all, it wouldn't be a Lindsay Lohan moment without a bit (or a lot) of suggestive controversy.
