Today Kim Kardashian was finally able to spill the beans on a big announcement she has been holding inside for weeks. The reality TV celebrity will be doing a gig on another small screen staple, Live! with Kelly. Kim will be joining Kelly Ripa on her morning talk show on Monday, January 23. She will be yet another of the rotating co-hosts serving a stint in Regis Philbin's famous chair as a full-time replacement for the anchor is sought. So far, Jerry Seinfeld, Rob Lowe, Anderson Cooper, Nick Lachey, and Neil Patrick Harris have subbed.
Kim is helping to launch a week of girl power on Live! and couldn't be more excited about it. She took to Celebuzz to issue the following statement:
I'm so excited to reveal that I will be co-hosting Live! with Kelly, with the wonderful Kelly Ripa on January 23!! I've been wanting share this for weeks now!! I can't wait to see Kelly! Xo.
It will be interesting to see Kim Kardashian acting as a foil for Kelly Ripa on the telecast and engage in a dialogue with the day's guests. Despite having upped her public profile in recent weeks after several weeks of staying low-key, Kim hasn't really ventured out into exceedingly public waters. Live! should prove to be a relatively gentle opportunity for her to stick a toe in the sea of public opinion before diving entirely in.
